HELP ADDISON KICK THIS THING!!

Addison Kleinhans, (7) was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on April 6, 2010. He is the son of a good friend of mine whom I have had the pleasure of dancing with in Up With People, prior to Addison's diagnosis.

Addison has been though a lot these past few years but through it all he has kept a smile on his face and has inspired, through his mother's blogging, people the world over.

Now, while still in treatment he is trying to give back and he is asking for your help!

 

Here is a letter from Addison's mom:

 

"I have a favor to ask, a fun one though that will only cost a stamp. Addison is helping to be an ambassador of sorts for MAKE-A-WISH foundation this holiday season. On December 9, he has been invited to bring as many letters to Santa as he can collect, to a very special mailbox in Denver. Macy's will then donate $2 to Make-A-Wish for every letter he puts into the special SANTA MAILBOX at that time!!!


 SO, if you would like, can you please write a letter (all ages can write!!!) and send it to Addison Kleinhans, PO Box 7743, Broomfield, CO 80021 by Dec 8? Make sure you write SANTA LETTER on the subject line or on the envelope so I can make sure it goes in his batch of letters!

 

If you are a teacher or troop leader, etc, you can send all the class letters together and each one will be worth $2 for Make-A-Wish! Addison has been granted a trip to Hawaii (he can't go until 2013 when he finishes treatment but trust me, the thought of this trip gets us through the darkest of days) and we want to GIVE BACK to them to help other kids!!!"

 

I thought that because we have access to so many kids, even your own, that we could REALLY help Addison reach his goal of 400 letters; I bet that with your help, that Addison could surpass that goal with ease! Lets make that happen!

Your help would really bring a smile to my face; not to mention the grin Addison and his family will have from your support for their little boy!
